This course is instructed by Nicole Picadura again, and builds on the skills acquired in the first layering course. Here we use more complex stamp sets with more layers. I made several cards of differing styles, but chose to focus on my favorite.

Again I used the Peony Bouquet Stamp Set and this time I used every stamp in the set…all twenty-four! It was a lot of stamping but I love the results!
Because the focal image is so large, I chose to do a 5″ x 7″ card. I tried to change up which images I masked so it would be more life-like and looking like a wreath of flowers, leaves and berries. I used Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock for this and also the card base. With the exception of the Camellia Build-a-Flower set, from which I used my sentiment, all other products used are in the second photo. When nearly finished with the stamping I got a smudge of ink near the bottom. I took my inks to paper, creating color cardstock to match the images, cut it into strips and strategically adhered the strips to the card to cover the smudge.

This card was very time-consuming but certainly paid off!! I love it!
Below I also added some of my first cards using this stamp set.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!
